Sometimes the Solution Is Not What You’re Expecting
Since the time this started on August 24, 2021, I have clocked thousands of literal hours of physical therapy, doctor appointments, healing appointments and holistic therapy. By February 2023 I was walking without my walker – without even concentrating on it - and able to sit up for increasingly longer periods of time, prompting me to set off on the journey of self-sufficiency. As I tried getting back to normal life, issues in my upper body began to develop. I’ve become so accustomed to chronic pain, I didn’t think much of it at first. Besides, my philosophy leaned more towards the fact that I push myself too hard the moment I feel slightly better. My original assumption was that my body wasn’t use to that much activity and it was responding with new aches and pains. No biggie- it would sort itself out. But the issues increasingly worsened and by April 2023 I was having significant problems.
